Gundagai STP services the town of 1500 people, the pant was built in 1960 and has is in urgent need of replacement. It’s deteriorated in recent years, primarily due to age and flood damage.
Due to above the new plant needed to be built above the 1.100 year flood level, in addition to accommodate future growth of 3,000 EP up to the year 2048.
In addition to a brand new plant built above 1.100 year flood zone, 2 new pump stations with new rising main pipe work are to be installed.
