RIC Electrics (RIC) was established in 1979 in Wagga Wagga. The company is locally owned and operated and has grown to employ roughly 50 employees. We provide turn-key Electrical, Switchboard, PLC, Fire, Communication and Security services to regional NSW. Focusing on the commercial and industrial sectors, we provide complete electrical solutions from design and construct to commissioning, and service the local community with a 24/7 breakdown and maintenance services.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

The position of Service Electrician will work as part of a Service Division, who is responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing electrical equipment and assets for our client. The candidate will be required to attend site, fault find electrical issues, undertake repair works, test and commission and report works to company systems. Small installation work is also performed. This is a fast paced job that is different from day to day.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Fault finding and diagnosing electrical issues
  • Reporting issues and recommending solutions
  • Undertake remediation works
  • Test and commission
  • Undertake regular service and maintenance of client assets.
  • Complete small projects as a part of a team.
  • Communicate effectively with other RIC staff and contractors.
  • Ability to complete tasks with little/no supervision.
  • Establish and maintain excellent relationships with fellow workers and customers.
  • Ensure WHS compliance according to RIC policies and SWMS.
  • Be apart of the on call roster (roughly every 6 weeks)

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Electrical licence
  • Driver licence
  • WHS General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
  • Enthusiastic, can-do attitude
  • Punctual and Reliable
  • Be a good person!! We have great team and we want

 

PREFERRABLE 

  • Previous fault finding experience
  • Electrical drawing interpretation and understanding
  • High Risk Work Licences/Working at Heights/Elevated Work Platform/Scissor
